Cyrus Buckman family photographs collection [graphic], circa 1905-1914

This collection contains photographs relating to the family of Cyrus Buckman, a Portland, Or. orchard owner, school board member, and city councilman after whom the Buckman neighborhood in Southeast Portland is named. The photographs, dating from circa 1905-1914, were taken after Cyrus' death in 1894 and depict Cyrus' brother, Theodore Buckman; his wife, Jane Gaskill Buckman; and his daughters, Elma and Wilda Buckman, among other Buckman family members. There are also photographs of members of the related Carter family, as well as of a Buckman family home and unidentified streets and buildings in Portland. Photographers include George W. Davies of Portland, Or., as well as other unidentified photographers. Includes photographic postcards.
